Testsnaps 05.05. und 12.05.: kein EPG

Moin,
sowohl auf meiner Sagem 1x als auch auf meiner Nokia 2x (beides Kabel, KDHome) habe ich nach Update keinen EPG mehr.
Scheint aber kein JTG Problem zu sein. Nach dem Testen mit einem ungenannten anderen Image mit CVS 05.05. ist auch hier der EPG weg
Ist das schon bekannt? Oder braucht ihr mehr Details?

EDIT: oh, neuer Snap vom 12.05. um 20.56 online - ZUNAECHST mit EPG
Nach einigen Reboots jedoch wieder die Meldung "Warte auf EPG Information" bzw "EPG nicht verfügbar"...
EDIT2: so, liegt wohl an der Kombination des neuen sectionsd mit meiner alten epgfilter.xml.
Der neue sectionsd interpretiert die dort angegebenen Parameter offenbar anders, als die vorherigen sectionsd...
Offenbar nutzt kaum einer die epgfilter.xml, sonst waers ja auch woanders aufgefallen. Nunja, ist ja auch nicht lebenswichtig

Wozu sollte bei Kabel auch der EPG Filter gut sein?
Ich habe das Image vom 12.05 drauf aber nach dem abspielen von TS Streams ist kein TV empfang mehr möglich. Das Display bleibt dann auf einem Sender und auf dem TV steht ein anderer wenn man umschaltet. Eine Fehlermeldung erscheint nicht.
Das EPG geht dagegen deutlich schneller. Vor allem bekomme ich jetzt auch bei ZDF einen EPG wenn ich zuvor einen ARD Sender eingeschaltet hatte. (mit den älteren waren im ZDF Bouquet bei allen Sendern EPG vorhanden, nur beim ZDF nicht).

Und da, wo ein wirklich ausführlicher EPG gesendet wird (z.B. ARD) kann ich das bei den Dritten auf den Sender beschränken, den ich wirklich schaue. So hab ich allein bei N3 nun nur noch einmal EPG statt bisher dreimal (N3 NDS, HH, SHST).
Kann ich irgendwo den belegten EPG-Speicher abfragen? Ich kann ja nur vermuten, dass der Speicherbedarf mit einer einigermassen angepassten epgfilter deutlich sinken sollte...
Ja, der EPG ist deutlich schneller und - wie Du beschrieben hast - auch kompletter als früher.
Und beim Autoupdate auf die Version vom 12.05. scheint auch wieder alles zu laufen. Wenn ich richtig gesehen habe, ist da ja auch die allerneueste Version von Seifes sectionsd drin.

Stichwort EPG-Statistik. Müsste unter Service zu finden sein, wenn es denn in der Personalisierung auf sichtbar gestellt ist

Hmm, dieses Verhalten ist hier zum Glück nicht aufgetreten. Der Testsnap vom 12.05. hat ja auch den aktuellsten sectionsd von seife drin (vom 12.05.)... Wurde denn sonst noch was geaendert?

Doch, ich nutze die auch. Ist ne praktischeSache, die Sender vom EPG auszuklammern, wo man das eh nicht braucht, weil man die nur alle Jubeljahre mal schaut. Allerdings brauche ich auch eine lauffähige Box und darum verzichte ich auch bislang auf die Experimente mit "Testimages".

Ich habe ja eh nur die ÖR und Premiere Sender alle anderen sind ohne EPG und in Conax verschlüsselt. Privatsender gibts hier zum Glück nicht.
Muss ich auch mal schauen wie der Filter aufgebaut ist.

Woran das liegt, kann ich dir leider auch nicht sagen, aber diese Symptome deuten auf einen Absturz von zapit hin. Ich kenne das Problem schon länger, da es bei mir auch sporadisch auftritt. Ich habe es für mich gelöst, indem ich in die movieplayer.end eine Abfrage eingebaut habe, die nach dem Beenden des Movieplayers prüft, ob zapit noch läuft und diesen Daemon dann ggf. wieder startet und neu bei Neutrino registriert.

Danke hatte ich auch gleich danach gefunden. Aber damit funktioniert der Filter nicht. (habe die bouqet.xml kopiert und umbenant und dann wie im Beispiel bearbeitet.

Habs rausgenommen ändert aber nichts. auch bei den unten angegebnen ARD Sendern wird das EPG normal angezeigt.

Schreib die mal alle in einen Filter. Ich glaube mehrere Filter mit gleichen Einstellungen sind so nicht vorgesehen.
Also nur ein mal "<epgfilter is_whitelist="1" except_current_next="1">" und darunter dann alle betreffenden Sender, dann "<epgfilter is_whitelist="0" except_current_next="0">" usw.
Und nimm mal das <zapit> raus.

Fuer KDHome laeuft bei mir folgende epgfilter sehr gut.
Hat nur bei den genannten Chans EPG, Rest nur now/next.
